    In my early experiences with twitter in my private life I have used it to interact with celebrities and other fans of these celebrities. In the classroom setting I have used it in several classes and have found it beneficial for interacting with other classmates. Twitter is an effective tool for engaging in group discussions and sharing your thoughts on certain subjects. Twitter might be helpful in my future career by giving me a platform to network and share my ideas with my peers.

    The digital divide affects student success in schools because the less privileged students are at a disadvantage because of their lack of access to the internet and digital devices at home. Some causes of the digital divide are poverty, unemployment, disability, and location. As a teacher I may be faced with some students that do not have access to the internet at home, because of this I will need to make accommodations for them in regards to completing assignments in a timely manner. I will also need to have compassion for these students and give them access to resources that the other students might have less use for.

    The two software tools that I would like to implement in my future classroom are Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint. Word is a great tool for students to use when writing essays, taking notes, and creating graphic elements for things such as Newsletters. Powerpoint is a great tool for students to use when creating presentations. I would like to use these tools with my future students because having a good understanding of how to use these tools will not only set them up for future academic success, but it will prepare them for their future careers.

    I think that badges are a great way to reward and incentivize accomplishing goals. I have earned badges both in the academic setting and in an athletic setting. I earned these badges by performing well in those respective areas. I shared them with my parents and peers at the time fo receiving them but I do not share them as an adult. I do not share those badges because it has been quite a while since I have received a badge.
