In assignment #5 I gained several new skills. These skills include how to create a non-linear powerpoint and how to create a game using powerpoint. I also used sound effects for the first time. I like the concept of this assignment but I found it very tedious to complete. Making sure everything went to the right slide was very time consuming. As a teacher I think I will use data collection tools in several ways. I will use them to get feedback from students on how they liked certain assignments. I will use these survey tools with middle school english students. I believe that this grade level will have the maturity level and understanding of how surveys work, so these tools will be beneficial to their overall learning. Another way I will use data collection tools is when teaching high school psychology courses, as I think they could be useful in creating small studies.
